How can we help?

Answers to the most common questions about BP Snap.

A value was not read, or was read wrong

Hold the iPhone straight in front of the display, avoid glare from lamps or windows, and fit only the monitor's screen in the frame. You can always tap a value to correct it — nothing is saved until you tap Save to Health.

“BP Snap is not allowed to save to Health”

Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps › BP Snap, and turn on Blood Pressure and Heart Rate.

The camera shows “Camera access is off”

Open the Settings app › Apps › BP Snap and turn on Camera. Meanwhile you can still choose a photo or type the values.

My recent readings are empty

Readings come from Apple Health. Check in the Health app that BP Snap may read Blood Pressure (profile picture › Apps › BP Snap).

The daily reminder does not appear

Notifications may be off for BP Snap. Turn them on in the Settings app › Notifications › BP Snap.

Does my monitor work with BP Snap?

Most home monitors with dark digits on a light LCD do. Backlit displays (light digits on dark) are not supported yet. You can always type the values in.
